* * * Important Notice to All Singers * * *

In order to present a well-prepared and well-rehearsed performance, singers who wish to join Masterworks Chorale for this concert must be present by the second rehearsal, February 7, 2012.

Programs (some free) to play MIDI files—

The MIDI files can be played on your computer system by music player software like Windows Media Player and Real Player.  However, more control of the music can be achieved with programs like Cakewalk Music Creator, Anvil Studio, MuseScore and Quartz Audio Master.  All of these programs allow you to view the score (the free version of Anvil Studio only lets you see one track at a time, however) and to limit what parts play.  You can also compose your own scores for practice.  Some of the versions referenced below are limited in some way because they are free or demo versions that are designed to get you to buy more advanced versions, but they are all quite usable.
